Anupam Sharma - Festival Director

Anupam Sharma is a film maker and the leading Australian expert on the Indian entertainment sector with a Master’s degree in film making and a thesis on Indian Cinema. He is currently Managing Director of Films and Casting Temple, and has successfully worked on 191 projects between Australia and India. He has been widely credited in the Australian and International media for pioneering the Indo-Australian film and media trade.

Peter Castaldi - Festival Director

Peter Castaldi is a distinguished journalist with a long and impressive career in film exhibition working with other festivals such as the Sydney Travelling Film Festival, the Goat Island Film Festival and the Olympic Arts Film Festival and as Director and General Manager of the BASC (Byron All Screens Celebration) Film Festival.

Deepti Sachdeva - Communications and Corporate Manager

Deepti Sachdeva is a multiplatform producer, journalist, blogger, and a communications consultant. With a Masters Degree in Film & Television Production Deepti has high end experience in supervising and coordinating award winning field/studio productions and editorial projects. She was the producer for one of the highest rated current affairs programmes at NDTV 24x7, India, and was a recent winner of the multiplatform screen producer scholarship by Screen NSW. Deepti is currently advising on TV, film, books, and multiplatform projects.

Satya Nair - Media Manager

An avid film buff with a passion for marketing and publicity, Satya earned her Masters degree in Arts and Media (Hons.) from Griffith University, Australia. Her post graduate thesis on Marketing Revolution in the Indian Film Industry got her a distinction.

A graduate from India's top communications institute, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, India, she commenced her career in entertainment marketing and publicity with Buzz, a division of Perfect Relations in Mumbai.

Since then she has worked with Asia Pacific Screen Awards and also volunteered for St George Brisbane International Film Festival.

She has been associated with films& casting TEMPLE in various projects since January 2008 working on publicity and marketing in both Australia and India.

Paulette Munoz - Festival Coordinator

Paulette has had a lengthy career in the entertainment industry beginning as an actor and then moving into production.  Combining her acting experiences and a strong track record in event management and production, Paulette is an ideal choice for coordinator.  Having several commercials, short and feature films under her belt she is excited to tackle the film festival world.

Kate Jones - Social Media Manager

Kate is a young social entrepreneur with expertise in digital storytelling, media, communications, and social networking. Kate's background in event management, project management and marketing has enabled her to bring a sharp edge to the development of social enterprises. She has worked for an international media agency, a major entertainment corporation, an award winning animation studio and involved with community organisations in Australia and the Pacific Islands.

Arianna Bosi - Director / Editor 

A directing graduate of Swinburne (now VCA), Arianna began her professional career in the drama department of the ABC (Melbourne) working in development. Her responsibilities as researcher, reader and script editor/writer culminated in her writing and directing the short film ‘Call Me Sal’  which was produced by the ABC. Produced by the ABC the film was broadcast in 1994. This was followed by an extended period on the regional live circuit where Arianna co- wrote, produced and directed films/ projections and multimedia work for The Old Van Theatre company with a stint directing music clips. This experience gave Arianna invaluable experience in entertaining whole new audiences. Since leaving Melbourne for Sydney in 2005 Arianna has worked as a freelance director/editor for numerous production companies. She has now runs her own production company servicing a list of loyal corporate clients and is currently developing a children's animated web series and narrative screenplays for both film and TV.

Carrie Isgett - Production Coordinator (Delegation and FRAMES Liaison)

Carrie has been pursuing a career in local film and television after migrating from the United States and has since worked on both Australian and Indian film and television productions, bringing with her strong administrative and creative skills. Though AFFI is her first film festival, she is enthusiastic to bring her skill set to the table in hopes of benefiting a wonderfully worthy cause.

Nitesh Asrani - Graphic Designer

Nitesh is a designer based in Sydney with expertise in both Digital and Print Media. Nitesh has been working as a freelance artist for Media Agencies based in Australia working on Motion Design as well as Print advertisements. He brings his skills of communicating a message to the masses via various forms of media.
